Kick-off Our New Erasmus Plus Project: Digital Bridges, Connecting Generations through Technology

In the final days of 2024, we officially launched our new international cooperation project, Digital Bridges: Connecting Generations through Technology. Partner organizations from the Netherlands (Sunny Days), Austria (Meine Welt), and Turkey (Engelsiz ve Mutlu Yaşam Derneği) gathered under the leadership of the German organization Perspektive Vielfalt gGmbH on December 13–14 in Bonn. Together, we aim to enhance digital literacy among senior citizens and foster transgenerational communication between seniors and young volunteers. During the two-day meeting, we discussed the objectives, strategies, and timeline of the project.

This project aims to bridge the digital divide between younger and older generations by
providing digital literacy training to elderly individuals through a mentorship model where
young volunteers will guide them. The focus is on reducing isolation, improving digital skills,
and fostering intergenerational connections.
