Stichting (Foundation) Sunny Days is looking for a project officer intern/volunteer to work on (mainly) Erasmus+ projects that the organization coordinates or partners with. The intern/volunteer will also be expected to contribute to the organization through various office tasks to be assigned. Duration: at least 3 months Working hours: 8-12 hours per week. Stichting Sunny Days is looking for a project officer intern starting from August or September 2022. Sunny Days is coordinating and partnering social projects with partners from different parts of Europe. It also works for creating and developing future projects. Your main task as the project officer intern/volunteer will be supporting the coordinator on the ongoing projects and ensuring that the tasks defined in the project flow are well completed. In addition, you will support the organization in writing concept notes, introducing project ideas and managing social media accounts.

Stichting (Foundation) Sunny Days is a young organization founded in 2020 in Utrecht, Netherlands. It’s a nonprofit organization working with target groups such as youngsters and women, mainly through Erasmus+ projects. The organization contributes to building up sustainable communities, peaceful encounters and awareness towards diversity and inclusion. It does this through social and cultural projects as well as training programs with partner organizations from different parts of Europe. Its main aim is to be an interaction and communication mediator and build bridges between different cultures and communities by bringing people together from diverse backgrounds.
What we ask:
- You are a student or graduate from a social sciences discipline.
- Interested in and affinity with migration, development studies, gender studies, media & communication studies, human rights, sociology, psychology, youth work, social work and sustainable development goals.
- Awareness of community and development projects and willingness to learn more about fundraising.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office programs, Google Drive tools, Canva and online meeting programs such as Zoom and Skype.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
- Ability to work independently, proactive, eager to learn and solution-oriented.
